KamilloKamil Žvak was born in Vsetín in 1981. He started playing cello at the age of six in the classroom of Mgr. Zdeňka Pimková. Then he continued at the P. J. Vejvanovský Conservatoire in Kroměříž. In AMU (Academy of Performing Arts in Prag) he finished his music studies in the class of Professor Miroslav Petráš. He has extended his education in the courses of period music in Valtice (Prof. Irmtraud Hubatschek), in Internationale Sommerakademie Semmering (Prof. Tobias Kühne and Prof. Tomasz Strahl) and in Master Classes of Anner Bylsma, Peter Wispelwey and Lubomir Georgiev.

He participated in several international competitions (e.g. Heran Cello Competition or Konkurzie Kamzimierz Wilkomirskego in Poznan). He is well-know chamber musician who performs in several European countries as a soloist. He has been a cello professor at the P. J .Vejvanovský Conservatoire in Kroměříž since 2010.
